About this work
Inspired by the catastrophic power of a fire in a field on my property. I took this painting outside and rubbed it in the ash after the fire had ceased. Please note that this painting may need more drying time before shipping due to the thickness of paint.
24″x24″ | oil on canvas | 2013
Inspired by a field on fire on my property. After which, I rubbed the painting, face down into the ashes of the field. It seems as if Vincent’s ‘Crows’ appeared.
